Eyelash Lift & Tint Explained
A lash lift in simple terms is a perm for your eyelashes. Unlike eyelash extensions, a lash lift simply changes the curl of your natural lashes. The majority of peoples eyelashes grow straight out, rather than up. However, upward facing lashes will give a more cosmetically pleasing appearance.
Once the perm is complete, a permanent eyelash safe dye is applied to the lashes to give them a dark, mascara like appearance.
How long does it last?
Typically a lash lift will last approximately 4 to 5 weeks. This length of time varies from client to client depending on the curl of your natural lashes, but, with proper care, you may be able to extend the life of your lash lift to 6 weeks.
Risks
All cosmetic procedures come with some risks, the risks associated with a eyelash lift and tint are infrequent and minor. Eye irritation, eye pain, eye itching and discomfort can occur, but is rare.
